Vibrating screen is a high-efficiency and energy-saving classification and dewatering equipment, which plays an important role in mineral processing plants. Equipment installation and commissioning have a decisive impact on equipment operation and safety. The following will introduce the problems to be paid attention to during the use of the vibrating screen.
Before the installation of the vibrating screen, the factory material of the vibrating screen should be carefully checked to see whether it conforms to the national standards. After purchasing vibrating screen, pay attention to the requirements of the vibrating screen for the storage environment of the warehouse. Since most of the vibrating screen is metal, anti-rust work should be done to prevent problems caused by rusting of vibrating screen components.
Check the vibrating screen before it is installed. The parts that are rusted in the inventory should be replaced, and the aging sealing element and the parts that have been damaged during the transportation should be replaced in time. Before installation, carefully read the installation instructions and perform specific operations according to the instructions.
Install bearing or hoisting set. The installation of the vibrating screen needs to ensure that the ground is flat to prevent problems caused by uneven ground during use. The operation should be carried out according to the drawings of bearing or hoisting, and the installation of each component should be carried out in strict order of operation. And the actual stiffness of the end mark should be matched before installing the spring component.
Connect the screen box to the bearing or hoisting set. After installing the screen box, it should be adjusted according to the specified inclination. For hanging screens, the inclination of the screen box and the levelness of the screen box spindle should be adjusted at the same time. Generally, the horizontal levelness must be adjusted first to eliminate the deflection of the screen box. Adjust the longitudinal inclination of the screen box after horizontal correction. The force of the vibration isolation spring should be uniform, and the force can be judged by measuring amount of compression of the spring. The compression amount of the two sets of springs at the feeding end must be the same. The two sets of springs at the discharge end shall also be so. The amount of spring compression at the discharge end and the feeding end can be different.
Install motor and triangle tape. The foundation of the motor should be leveled during installation, and the levelness of the motor needs to be corrected. The center lines of the corresponding grooves of the two tape wheels should coincide, and the pulling force of the triangle tape should be appropriate.
Install and fix the screen surface as required.
Check whether the screen feeding, discharge chute and screen funnel collide when working.
Empty test run time of vibrating screen must not be less than 8h. During this time, observe whether the screen starts smoothly and quickly, whether the vibration and operation are stable, and there is no special noise.
When the vibrating screen is running, the screen box will not vibrate sideways. If there is a yaw phenomenon, the reason may be that the height difference between the springs on both sides is too large, the tension of the hanging wire rope is uneven, the rotation axis is not horizontal, or the triangle tape is too tight, and it should be adjusted accordingly.
Within 4 hours of operation, the bearing temperature gradually increased and then remained stable. Its maximum temperature shall not exceed 75℃, and the temperature rise shall not exceed 40℃.
If there is abnormal noise or the bearing temperature rises sharply after starting the machine, stop the machine immediately, check whether the shaft is rotating flexibly and lubricated well, and start again after troubleshooting.
After starting for 2~4h, stop the machine to check whether the connecting parts are loose. If loose, start again after fastening.
If there is no fault after 8h of test run, the installation project can be accepted.
The operator should read the duty record and make a general inspection of the equipment before working.
The starting of the vibrating screen shall follow the process system sequence.
When the vibrating screen is working, it is necessary to visually and auditoryly check the operation conditions of the exciter and the screen box. After stopping the vibrating screen, touch the bearing cover to check the bearing temperature.
The stop of the vibrating screen should conform to the order of the process system. Except for special requirements, it is strictly forbidden to continue feeding to the screen after stopping.
When handing over the vibrating screen, the previous one must do a good job of inspection before handover, and make timely records of the problems that occur.
The staff must maintain a certain distance when checking the vibrating screen. Because the vibrating screen is running at high speed during work, the material on the screen may hurt inspectors due to vibration. In order to prevent accidents, the inspectors should pay attention to keeping the distance.
The purpose of the maintenance and overhaul of the vibrating screen is to understand the overall status of the vibrating screen, and to restore the working capacity of the screen by repairing and replacing damaged and worn parts. Its job content includes daily maintenance and periodic overhaul.
Vibrating Screen Daily Maintenance
In the daily maintenance of the vibrating screen, special attention should be paid to the tightening of the screen surface. Due to a lot of long-term work, if the screen surface becomes loose, it will not only affect the specific operate but also may cause accidents. And the part of the peeled paint shall be repaired in time. If the material contains a large amount of water, long hours of work is likely to lead to the vibration screen rusting. Therefore, it is also crucial to do a good job in rust prevention.
Vibrating Screen Periodic Overhaul
In actual operation, operators should be strictly required to operate in accordance with standards and specifications. Do the routine maintenance work of "three inspections a day" before the equipment is started, during the operation and after it is stopped every day. This not only ensures the safe operation of the equipment in good condition, but also effectively controls the maintenance cost of the equipment.
